The Advanced Career and Technology Academy at New Mexico Junior College has the following programs of study available for eligible juniors and seniors in high school:

Cosmetology (Nail Tech)
Welding
Criminal Justice
Nursing Assistant Preparation  
Energy Tech

 Students who attend the ACTA attend New Mexico Junior College either for an AM block (1st -3rd periods)  or a PM block (5th-7th periods).  They attend core classes (English, math, history, and science) on HHS  campus.  

 Students who are enrolled in band, athletics, or other extracurricular activities that meet during the normal day are not eligible because of time constraints of the ACT schedule.  

 Transportation is provided to and from NMJC for both the AM and PM blocks.
