Will Rogers and Sanger were among only 22 elementary schools from across the state to receive the state Incentive Award for making major strides with bilingual students. On hand in Santa Fe Feb. 18 to receive the award were school board member Gary Eidson, teachers Sonya Obrain and Nancy Cruz, school board member  Joe Calderon, Will Rogers principal Amy Rhoads, staffers Leticia Quiroz, Teresa Gonzalez and Lisa Romine and Sanger principal  Alfredo Turrubiates.
