Following graduation from Hobbs High in 1994, I attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX. I graduated (Magna Cum Laude) in 1998 and I am currently teaching. This is my fourth year to teach, however I will graduate from Texas Woman's University in August 2002 with a masters degree in library sciences and I plan to become a school librarian next year. My husband, Keith, and I have a beautiful daughter named Phoebe who will be two in May 2002. I plan on taking a year off from graduate school and returning either to pursue a second masters degree in Educational Administration or to move on to doctoral work. Life has been busy! | |

joined the US Army days later. Traveled to Korea and got out in 1988.Took
up the automobile technician trade and moved to Washington DC area. Am
currently an ASE Certified Master Technician , Gold Level Chrysler/Jeep
technician. Thank You Jerry Crossland for keeping it interesting. I am
married have 6 children at home. My wife Lyn, from Jackson Township New
Jersey. 5 boys, Stefano, Danny, John, Ross, and tiny terror of 2 years old
Dakota; 1 daughter, Her Royal Highness Cheyenne (4). We are looking
forward to visiting Hobbs in the near future. Miss it terribly.

I live in Humble, Texas, a suburb of Houston. My wife, Laura
Nan, and I have been married 42 years. We have two children,
a boy and a girl, and four grandchildren. I had a varied career starting with teaching school and coaching in Galena Park, TX, a surburb of Houston. I taught for seven years in the elementary and junior schools. After that I was an estimator for a construction company in Pasadena, Texas, also a suburb of Houston. After twelve years in the construction industry, I went back to school at Houston Community College and learned to be a court reporter. We moved to Edmond Oklahoma and I commuted to Oklahoma City every day to work for a court reporting firm. After three years, we moved to Miramar, Florida, which is just north of Miami. I worked in the courts there, mainly the Federal Grand Jury, for four years, and then I went to work for a court reporting firm in Fort Lauderdale for awhile until I lost the function of my kidneys which forced me to retire. We moved back to Houston in March of 1998. I have been in and out of the hospital numerous times because of health problems. I had a triple bypass operation on my heart in 1999. I had a kidney transplant that did not work in 2000. I am currently on the list for another kidney transplant. I go to dialysis three days a week to stay alive. God bless the medical profession and all who work in it. They can perform miracles. I want to say hello to all my former classmates and feel free to contact me if you so desire. |
