Students will have the opportunity to meet certain criteria, listed below, in order to be deemed eligible to take semester finals 1 week early.  While all students must take a semester exam, Hobbs Schools still wants to recognize and reward those who have achieved an appropriate grade average and a good attendance record.  If you have any questions, please contact our school office (433-1300).

 

**Grade Point Average – A

Maximum of 3 Absences

 

**Grade Point Average – B

Maximum of 2 Absences

 

**Grade Point Average – C

Maximum of 1 Absence

 

 

Absences which count toward

maximum absences:

Suspension from School

Parent Excused Absences

(illness, family emergency, out of town)

Three (3) tardies in one (1) class =

One (1) unexcused absence

 

If a student fails to meet the criteria in ANY class, then the student must take ALL semester exams.

This will be an “ALL” or “NONE” policy.

On-Campus Suspension
