I would like to welcome
you to Houston Jr. High. As the Principal, I feel
honored to invite you to visit our school and meet your
child’s teachers. Our goal is to ensure high levels of
learning for all students. We are here to meet the
needs of your children and prepare them for the future.
Houston Jr. High has
approximately 600 students and 65 staff members. We
offer strong academics including Pre-AP and AP classes,
competitive sports, clubs and organizations. Our school
hours are from 7:45 to 4:00 with classes beginning at
8:30 and ending at 3:40.
We would like to
encourage each parent to be involved in their child’s
education. There are volunteer programs that allow this
to happen. The success of your child’s education is our
number one priority at Houston Jr. High.
