I am honored and proud to be serving as the principal of Mills Elementary for a sixth year.  I am truly elated to be part of such a wonderful school with such an outstanding heritage.  We are proud to be an Official Core Knowledge Visitation School .   

The success of our school is attributed to the team work of the staff, students, and parents. We put children first when making educational decisions. There are many programs and activities in progress at our school which benefit students in a variety of ways. Our students are motivated, cooperative, well-behaved and pleasant. Staff members constantly seek new innovative ways to make our school an exciting learning experience. Our parents are actively involved in our school and in the education of their children. We strive to make Mills a friendly, caring, supportive school where children feel challenged, safe, and cared for by both the school staff and the community. We will maintain high expectations for all students with special emphasis on academics and student responsibility.
