Yesterday was an AMAZING day at Houston Middle School as we celebrated being officially recognized as a Model Professional Learning Center School!
Students and staff gathered together for an exciting assembly to celebrate the hard work, dedication, collaboration, and commitment that made this incredible achievement possible!
We were honored to be joined by central office staff members as well as representatives from Solution Tree who helped recognize the outstanding work taking place at Houston Middle School.
This recognition is more than just an award — it represents the intentional work happening behind the scenes through collaboration, data-driven instruction, reteach and extension opportunities, and a strong focus on student growth and success. Teachers continuously work together to analyze student data, adjust instruction, and ensure every student receives the support or challenge they need to succeed. Because of this work, student achievement continues to grow across our campus!
Most importantly, our students have become part of the process by understanding their own data, setting goals, celebrating growth, and taking ownership of their learning. Their hard work and determination are helping create a culture of excellence at Houston Middle School!
