Pictured are members of the Facility Assessment Community Team (FACT) along with Kerry Romine form the HMS School Board digging in the dirt as they welcomed the community to a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Del Norte Middle School on August 4, 2025. Hobbs Schools will periodically post updates on the progress of the new build with a projected date of operation for the 2027 school year. Hobbs Municipal Schools would like to thank Del Norte Heights, Inc representative Maddie Mann and NMPSFA Deputy Director of Capital Operations Sean Murray for speaking at the event, along with representatives our building partners-Architect / Parkhill, and Construction /Bradbury- Stamm for their decdicatied support of this project, along with our greater Hobbs community that continues to support Hobbs Schools.
