sanchezAdrian Sanchez consistent three-point shooting was a highlight during the Hobbs Holiday Tournament. The Eagles won their first two games easily, but lost the final to El Paso Andress 64-62.


Christmas was in the air as elementary school students participated in programs while counting down the days until Santa arrived during the last week of classes in December.

Israel Telles sang "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire," during a Dec. 17 concert at First United Methodist Church featuring the Freshman High School choir, the HHS Mixed Chorale and the HHS A Cappella Choir.


After spending weeks rehearsing, Edison students putting on a variety show Dec. 14th that showcased a wide array of talents.

The boys won their only home meet of the year on Dec. 1 and the girls came in second.


It was short-sleeve weather and balmy temperatures when the annual Hobbs Jaycee Christmas Parade rolled down Turner on Dec. 1.
