🎬CTECH students are dedicated! Recently, Advanced Digital Media students and some of their CTECH classmates from other pathways got up early braving the cold to film their competition piece for the SkillsUSA Digital Cinema Production competition. They will travel with over 100 other students to Albuquerque to present their finished movie at the New Mexico SkillsUSA Leadership and Competition Conference on March 26-29th!!
👏Thank you to Coal Brew for your support, allowing our students to use the coffee shop to film. #thehobbsway

As part of the 60 day NM Legislative session, Hobbs High School SkillsUSA officers and advisors had an amazing opportunity to travel to Santa Fe for CTSO Day at the Roundhouse! SkillsUSA officers met with key leaders from Lea County, including Representative Randall Pettigrew, Representative Elaine Sena-Cortez, and Senator Larry Scott.
It was a great day of learning, networking, and advocating for SkillsUSA and the future of career and technical education in New Mexico!
This is what leadership and advocacy looks like! Way to GO Eagles!

HMS is incredibly proud to be invited to be a part of the MLK Day of Giving events this past weekend hosted by the United Way of Lea County. This event always showcases what’s great about living in the Hobbs community and truly warms our hearts to see so many people out on a cold winter’s day giving back in remembrance of Dr. King.
That’s Gold Standard!
