⭐️Jefferson Elementary held an event consisting of learning centers that their students with autism participates in to further develop their social skills, academic skills, motor skills as well as other life skills. Parents and staff ran the learning centers and spoke with all of our students about how these activities would be helpful and fun for children with autism. What a great way for Jefferson to love on these amazing students!⭐️

HMS hosted a Pre-k parent engagement event around Mathematics and supporting your child's well being through language usage and achievement. Materials from Teacher Created were used for training and feedback to HMS educators in real time. It turned out to be a great day of fun for all, but mostly for the students!
We are so appreciative of these parents taking the time to be a part of this important work for our students!🦅⭐️

Hobbs SkillsUSA Chapter is ready to start another day of state competition! Good Luck, Eagles! Bring home the Gold! #thehobbsway

✨️Two of the varsity HHS esports players were privileged to compete in their NMAA playoff games yesterday remotely from Albuquerque NM. These multi-talented athletes, Kashis Gonzales (Rocket League) and William Bolthauser (Mario Kart), are also competing in the SkillsUSA State Leadership Conference. The president of UNM esports graciously offered the use of UNM equipment as well as network access allowing Kashis and William to compete alongside their teammates in Hobbs as HHS claimed victory over Sandia High (Rocket League) and Manzano High (Mario Kart). The HHS Esports team is grateful to UNM esports and was honored to commemorate the event with a jersey swap between Achilles, UNM Rocket League Captain, and the HHS players.

HMS is incredibly proud to be invited to be a part of the MLK Day of Giving events this past weekend hosted by the United Way of Lea County. This event always showcases what’s great about living in the Hobbs community and truly warms our hearts to see so many people out on a cold winter’s day giving back in remembrance of Dr. King.
That’s Gold Standard!
