✨️Two of the varsity HHS esports players were privileged to compete in their NMAA playoff games yesterday remotely from Albuquerque NM. These multi-talented athletes, Kashis Gonzales (Rocket League) and William Bolthauser (Mario Kart), are also competing in the SkillsUSA State Leadership Conference. The president of UNM esports graciously offered the use of UNM equipment as well as network access allowing Kashis and William to compete alongside their teammates in Hobbs as HHS claimed victory over Sandia High (Rocket League) and Manzano High (Mario Kart). The HHS Esports team is grateful to UNM esports and was honored to commemorate the event with a jersey swap between Achilles, UNM Rocket League Captain, and the HHS players. #esports #thegoldstandard #hobbseagles
